Natalie Burgess Artistic Director Natalie Burgess has extensive experience in children's theatre and music composition and performance. She is a mask and puppet designer and performer who studied design under puppet master Ralph Lee. Natalie holds a Master's degree from New York University's Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions' Program in Educational Theater. She spent three years at the Central Park Zoo as a performer, songwriter and puppeteer. Paper City's first full length original puppet musical, Eliza's Window had a successful summer run in NYC at the Manhattan Theatre Source. Her masks and puppet designs have also been featured in various NYC productions. In addition to writing all of Paper City Productions' scripts and songs, she writes for other companies and teaches workshops and residencies in NYC public Schools.
Molly Davis Associate Artistic Director Molly Davis is a performer and educator, teaching drama to 1st 2nd and 3rd graders at Brooklyn Heights Montessori School- where she is currently directing two original theatre pieces with young performers. Molly attended NYU's Program in Educational Theatre where she earned a Master's degree and first collaborated with Natalie. Molly first performed with Paper City in December 2005 as a puppeteer in the original play A Grand Ole Gift, presented at the Generoso Pope Foundation in Tuckahoe, NY.
